They emphasize that Vasiljević was never employed by the BBC, but that she worked as a freelancer, the last time for the British public service in 2012.
Vasiljević was a guest on a television channel, speaking on the topic of how to prevent the spread of disinformation, and to the surprise of those present, she admitted that in 2000, when she was working as a journalist for the BBC, invented a war in Montenegro, and that was to spend three months on St. Stefan.
"We were at the BBC at one time, we invented stories in order to... We invented the war in Montenegro, i.e. the possibility that Milosevic would attack in 2000, before his last elections, attack Montenegro i.e. Milo Đukanović because Milo turned his back, so that they would be in Sveti Stefan for three months," said Vasiljević.
