The editor-in-chief of Danas, Dragoljub Petrović, told the students of the Faculty of Sports about the history of the paper, and the executive editor of the print edition, Aleksandar Roknić, explained how a newspaper works on a daily basis.
"When you are critical of the media, both the government and the opposition have objections. The opposition thinks that if you criticize the government that you are on their side, which is not the case, and then they also complain when we criticize them. On the other hand, the government has an order not to give statements and information to the media like us, so in the last few years we rarely have the other side, although we try to always have two sides," Petrović explained.
The students were also interested in what will happen with United Media, within which Danas operates, and how the famous cartoonist of that newspaper, Predrag Koraksić Koraks, works.
