The Office of the Commissioner of Serbia for International Exhibitions is announcing a tender for the selection of the company that should prepare and realize the exhibition display in National Pavilion of Serbia Expo 2027.
The estimated value of the public procurement for the services of the organization of the exhibition stand in the National Pavilion of Serbia at Expo 2027 is one billion dinars, i.e. about 8.510.000 euros.
All information about that public procurement, including conditions of participation, deadlines and criteria for choosing the best bidder, will be available from tomorrow on the Public Procurement portal.
The specialized exhibition Expo 2027 will be held from May 15 to August 15, 2027 in Belgrade. So far, 130 countries have confirmed their participation in the exhibition.
The selected bidder, as stated in the announcement of that Office, has the task of preparing a creative concept and realizing the exhibition on 24.827,60 square meters.
That work, among other things, includes the creation of "author's works of art, sculptures, spatial and ambient installations, production of audio-visual content, development of VR and AR technological solutions, as well as coordination of all participants in the process of preparation and creative and technical realization of the exhibition for three months."
The General Commissioner of Serbia for Expo 2027, Žarko Malinović, invited domestic and international companies to apply for the tender and to "contribute with creative ideas so that Serbia presents its creativity, energy and modern identity to the world".
He pointed out that at this year's big World Exhibition "Expo 2025" in Osaka, the exhibition display of Japan, the host, cost 36 million euros, while at Expo 2020 in Dubai, the construction and organization of the exhibition in the pavilion of the United Arab Emirates cost 88 million euros.
