General Manager Radio and Television of Vojvodina (RTV) Goran Karadžić said that there is not even a word about the technical director Jovan Bačić intentionally interrupting the RTV program for 14 minutes on Friday, the Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) reported today.
Karadžić was asked by the UNS how and why it happened yesterday's interruption of the RTV program, as well as why the cooperation with the director of PJ "Technology and Technology" Jovan Bačić was terminated, said that it was not a deliberate interruption of the program, reports FoNet.
"It has nothing to do with politics or the 14 minutes when Novi Sad stopped." That's what happened after that. "It happened that people were not concentrating on their work and that they caused the public service paid for by the citizens of Serbia to remain without programs for about fifteen minutes, which is unacceptable," said Karadzic.
He pointed out that there is not even a word about Bačić deliberately interrupting the program, adding that the contract with the technical director has already been extended twice, because he was supposed to retire.
"I terminated cooperation with him yesterday, and I will appoint someone else in that position, in the hope that such things will not happen again," said Karadzic.
The association also asked Bačić why the program was interrupted yesterday, but he did not want to talk about it.

About an hour later, on the First and Second programs of the Radio-television of Vojvodina (RTV), the program was interrupted from 12.51:13.03 to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
On that occasion, RTV announced that "due to reasons of objective responsibility" it dismissed the previous director of PJ "Techniques and Technologies".
The statement stated that authorities in RTV will "subsequently investigate in detail" the reasons that led to the interruption of the program "so that responsibility will be borne by all those who caused this unpleasant incident by their actions or inactions".
In the end, RTV apologized "for an unacceptable omission" and emphasized that it will do everything to ensure that "nothing like this happens in the future".
Representatives of the Novi Sad and parliamentary opposition, as well as many citizens, found a connection between the protest in Novi Sad and the interruption of the RTV program, and assessed the act of the dismissed director as "heroic".
