They will simultaneously block numerous main, regional and local roads in Serbia from 10 am.
Farmers who have been protesting since February 11, blocking roads, are now announcing the expansion of blockades across the country, and in some places they will be all day long.
Such a decision was made at a meeting held on Saturday (February 21) in Mrčajevci.
What will be blocked?
The farmers announced that in addition to the total blockade of the Ibarska highway in Mrčajevci, the blockade of the old Kragujevac-Topola road in Cerovac and the roundabout in the town of Zaklopača on the Kraljevo-Vrnjačka Banja highway, the roads in the town of Zavalka, the old Čačak-Kraljevo road in Slatina will be blocked from 10 a.m. on Tuesday for several hours during the day.
The roads to Užice and Zaltibor in Lunovo Selo and Mackat will also be blocked for several hours, in Svilanjac the road to Požarevac, in Gornja Sabanta the old road to Kruševac, in Rača the Topola-Markovac road.
The road Kragujevac-Gornji Milanovac will be blocked in the town of Bare, the road Takovo-Gornji Milanovac in Takovo, several roads around the town of Bogatić, the road Beočin-Ilok-border with Croatia in the town of Susek, the road Obrenovac-Ub in Obrenovac.
The association of farmers Novoseljanski paori will block the main road Belgrade-Temišvar, reports Beta.
Farmers demand urgent control of milk imports and the introduction of levies, suspension of imports of milk, meat, fruits and vegetables, grains and all types of food produced in Serbia, as well as guaranteed purchase from domestic producers.
