Member of the Presidency of Serbia Center (SRCE) Petar Bošković said on Monday that soldier, which during parades on September 20th waved at citizens and students from a military vehicle, and whose image traveled the world, was called to military disciplinary responsibility.
Bošković warned of the absurdity of the army punishing soldiers for that, as well as those who "liked" something on social networks, and that the Military Security Agency immediately knew who they were, but that "they did not know that a combat camp for the training of foreign citizens was being held near Loznica for two months."
"That soldier didn't do anything, he simply greeted his fellow citizens and he was immediately disciplined, because the service reacted immediately," said Bošković for Nova S television.
He stated that the soldiers from the Land Security Zone towards Kosovo were withdrawn to a parade in Belgrade and that three bases were shut down.
"Why? Because you don't have people, and you are bringing them to the parade. You are reducing daily wages from 1800 dinars to 1.100 dinars. That is absurd," said Bošković.
He added that the government and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, react to things like the illegal camp near Loznica "post festum", that is, "only when they find themselves with their hand in the honey jar".
"If he hadn't received the racket from America, and before that from Moldova, I highly doubt that it would have gone public. Because, when you look, we know nothing about Banjska, what happened in the end and what was the cause. We know nothing about the 512 stolen pistols from the warehouse," said Bošković.
