Media workers, citizens' assemblies, students and individual political actors gathered at the second support rally employees at N1, which are organized by journalist associations.
A rally of support was held in front of the N1 newsroom in New Belgrade, and prosecutor Bojana Savović and actress Jelisaveta Seka Sablić spoke.
A letter from football player Nemanja Vidić was also read. The letter, in which Vidić said that freedom of the media is a condition for our survival, otherwise - lies will kill us.
Support for N1 was provided by Nadja Šolaja, a participant of the N1 summer journalism workshop, who said that journalists who do their work professionally and responsibly are on the front line of society's defense.
"Every citizen must be aware and ready to defend those who defend him. Without free media, there is no democracy, no free state, no free society, and no free elections," she said.

The Association of Independent Electronic Media, but also other associations, such as the Association of Online Media, the Independent Association of Journalists of Vojvodina, the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia, Lokal Presa, the "Slavko Ćuruvija" Foundation... They said that it is important that support be visible and that professional and independent media defend themselves.
They also indicated that they will inform the domestic and international public about what is happening with the media in Serbia.
