How does YouTube pay and how much? Is the viewership there higher than on television? And how can the media survive? "Vreme" writes about this in the new issue on the occasion of the first YouTube premiere of "24 Minutes".
Zoran Kesic is back on the small screen. That is, on even smaller screens, on YouTube. But, is it possible to make money and live on a platform where journalistic content intersects and fights with music videos, jokes, know-how videos that he makes artificial intelligence?
In the new issue (Thursday, September 24), "Vreme" investigates how much and how Serbian creators earn. And why there is still a lot more money in television, even where the viewership is zero.
How much is that?
Nemanja Rujević's text explains how much money YouTube forwards to creators and why guest workers are the best audience. Several interlocutors reveal how they really make a living from YouTube.

"With the help of tools Social blade and by analogy, based on conversations with other creators who revealed to Vrema how much they earn, it can be estimated that channels with the same audience as '24 Minutes' earn about four to six thousand dollars a month from Google ads, probably eight thousand or more in better months," the text reads.
Balkan info, an oasis for hours-long conversations with everyone from conspiracy theorists, can earn around three to four thousand dollars. Zrenjaninska KTV on its popular channel No Censorship probably similar to "24 minutes".
The audience changes everything.
We must not forget the potential game changer - direct advertisers, therefore, sponsors.
"When the line is drawn, for a serious production and a large crew, such as '24 minutes', YouTube should be enough for survival."
And to live well? This is preceded by the understanding of the audience that it should be paid for media which inform properly, or entertain, make you think, educate, as much as you can. "Like is great, but it's not enough," the text reads.

Aleksandar Vučić commented on bot attacks on social networks and the case of an attack on the account of the weekly "Vreme" in the Albatros news podcast. And lied
There is, literally, no difference between the one who claims it is day in the middle of the night, or the one who claims to be a giraffe, from the claims we read on billboards: that Vučić is working to unify Serbs and that Serbia is doing better and better day by day.
The pre-election arrests due to the alleged "overthrow of the state" testify to the regime's panic. The bad news for them is - they can't arrest the whole people who decided to defend themselves from progressive beatings and election theft
The ring that tightens around Ćaciland Student list is getting narrower. Because there are more and more spoiled people who see the false prophet for what he is: a street obscener who is fighting Serbia
