The association "Da se zna!" has warned of the increase in hatred and violence towards LGBT+ people throughout Serbia, which results in more and more frequent attacks on their rare meeting places in Belgrade, which are becoming increasingly unsafe.
Similar attacks on queer spaces, the organization reminds, took place in October last year, when homophobic and neo-Nazi graffiti were written in front of the "Governante" bar. Then the "Mornar" club was broken into, and then there was a physical attack at the "Governanta" bar.
In the same period, several LGBT+ persons were physically attacked on Republic Square in Belgrade.
It was pointed out that every time there was no adequate reaction from the police and the prosecutor's office.
