Against the mayor of Užice, Jelena Raković Radivojević, former director Duboko landfills The civil organization Libergraf has filed criminal charges against Momir Milovanović, as well as their associates, because they suspect that they committed embezzlement during extinguishing fires at the landfill in 2024, when the state of emergency was also in effect.
Criminal charges were filed at the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Kraljevo against these three managers, as well as Jugoslav Jovanović in his capacity as a supervisory authority, Goran Vasić as the person in charge of receiving works, as well as the owners of two entrepreneurial shops - Miloš Tasić and Dragan Vasić, who invoiced the works even before the state of emergency was officially declared, Libergraf reported.
It further states that, based on the available documentation, "there are serious indications that the entire deal was pre-arranged and retroactively documented, with extremely high and unverified costs."
"The procedure for the public engagement of contractors and supervision was non-transparent, and the most money was collected by companies with suspiciously low capacities. We expect the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office to urgently conduct an investigation and inform the public about all the facts of this case", emphasized the press release of Libergraf from Užice.
