Military parade was completed on Saturday (September 20), but the streets of Belgrade are still not completely passable traffic changes still apply.
On Nikola Tesla Boulevard near the roundabout near Ušće, there are still vehicles of the Serbian Army, as well as City Cleanliness, parked, reports N1. Although the vehicles are slowly moving away, it was announced that the traffic changes will be valid until September 25.
In addition, as stated on the website of the Secretariat for Traffic, traffic changes are expected on Sunday (September 21) due to the Serbian triathlon championship.
The competition will be held on Ada Ciganlija and the surrounding roads, and competitors will swim 1,9 km in Sava Lake, ride a bicycle 90 km through the territory of several Belgrade municipalities and run 21,1 km around Ada Ciganlija (three laps). The start of the race is at 7 a.m., and the announcement of the winner is expected around 13 p.m.
For the purposes of realizing the event, traffic will be suspended both on city and national roads.
Changed traffic regime: until 12:30 p.m
In the period from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the section of highway A2 (Miloš Veliki) will be closed, from the intersection with highway M26 (Barič) to Petlja Surčin south, in the direction of Belgrade, as well as the exit from highway E-75 to Petlja Surčin south.
In the period from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the following will be closed:
- roundabout from the direction of the access road to Belgrade and Surčinska Street towards Dr. Ivan Ribara and Vojvođanska Streets, as well as from Dr. Ivan Ribara Street towards Vojvođanska and Surčinska Streets, in the direction of Gandijeva Street;
- Vojvođanska Street, from Dr. Ivan Ribara Street to Egipatska Street, as well as all intersections of access roads to Vojvodjanska Street, in the direction of Gandijeva Street;
- Egipatska Street, from Vojvođanska Street to Tošin Bunar Street, as well as all intersections of access roads to Egipatska Street, in the direction of Tošin Bunar Street;
- Tošin Bunar Street, from Egiptska Street to Heroja s Košar Boulevard, as well as all intersections of access roads to Tošin Bunar Street, in the direction of Heroja s Košar Boulevard;
- Heroja Boulevard from Košara, from Tošin bunar Street to Yurija Gagarina Street, as well as all intersections of access roads to Heroja Boulevard from Košara, in the direction of Sava;
- Bridge on Ada, as well as all intersections of access roads to Bridge on Ada, direction Topcider;
-Exit from the Bridge on Ada roundabout towards Vojvode Mišić Boulevard, direction Obrenovac;
-Radnička street, from Vojvoda Mišić Boulevard to the Savska highway (E-763), in the direction of Obrenovac;
-Exit from Ada Ciganlija to Radnička ulica and Sava highway.
Changed traffic regime: until 12:30 p.m
The following areas will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.:
- pedestrian and bicycle path from Ada Ciganlija to the Belgrade Fair near the River Police;
- a small roundabout (after the Fair) towards Stenka;
- Woodrow Wilson Boulevard from the terminus of the public transport lines (TC "Galerija") to the entrance to the Belgrade Fair, in the direction of the Belgrade Fair;
- the pedestrian and bicycle path on the Ada Bridge from Jurija Gagarina Street to Radnička Street;
- intersection entrance from Radnička Street on Ada Ciganli;
-crossroads exit from Ada Ciganlija to Radnička ulica and to Savska magistrala.
As stated in the announcement, in case of earlier completion of the cycling segment, the roads used for this part of the race may be opened earlier for regular traffic.
Also, due to the holding of the international race, the TC "Gallery" outdoor garage will not be in operation on Sunday, September 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The entrance to the TC "Galerija" underground garage will be possible from Woodrow Wilson Boulevard and next to the Gazela Bridge, while the exit should also be possible towards the Belgrade Tower/Nikolaija Kravtsova Street and the Gazela Bridge. The company "Beograd na vodi" and TC "Galerija" also state that, if the competent authorities assess that, for security reasons, the exit from the underground garage of the shopping center towards Gazela should be closed, the security of TC "Galerija" will organize traffic in the garage during the specified period and direct it towards Belgrade Tower/Nikolaja Kravcova Street.
