"Finally, the first gig, after more than a month. We can't wait to play," said Branko Golubović, the band's singer, two days ago Goblins fans on social networks.
However, Golubović and the crew will have to wait a little longer before they get on stage and sing in front of the audience, since a day later, the news arrived that the concert they were supposed to hold on Friday, September 26 in Niš was cancelled.
The club "Istina Masina", where the concert was supposed to be held in Nis, announced on social media that the concert was canceled due to pressure.
"Unfortunately, due to the current situation and the pressures we are facing, Istina Mašina has been forced to cancel the performances of Mark Louis and Goblin. We know that you have been looking forward to these gigs - and so have we. Thank you for being with us and understanding. See you soon!", reads the announcement.

Marko Luis later announced that he would still hold the concert in Nis, but at a different location.
Goblins on a forced break
The series of cancellations of performances by the Sabac punk-rock band Goblini, which openly supported the students, continued, and they also released the song "Let's go to the end", for which the video was made by students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) in Belgrade.
The goblins performed as opening act for Billy Idol at a concert in Belgrade at the beginning of July, and then their performances at Beer Days in Zrenjanin and Gitarijada in Zaječar were cancelled.
The organizers of Beer Day explained that they are "not interested in performers who have political connotations".
The band answered unequivocally that, although they have no political involvement, they clearly choose a side and "support the youth of their country and their struggle for the rule of law."
Goblin has a concert scheduled for Saturday, September 26 in Bač, and it has not been canceled yet.
Other cancellations
The goblins weren't the only ones having fun performance in Zrenjanin cancelled.
Since the organizers Guitarists Goblin canceled their gig, many bands withdrew themselves, thus standing with their colleagues from Šabac.
A similar wave of solidarity hit the Belgrade Beer Fest, and one of the reasons cited was the suspicion that these festivals are under the control of the authorities.
Fans of the singer Nikolija Jovanović, who with her partner, also a musician, goes to protests and supports the student rebellion, and the singer Adil Muskatović, who were preparing for the concerts of these two the contractor in Belgrade, it was not possible, since their concerts on Tašmajdan were cancelled.
The performances of other bands at festivals were also cancelled, but at the other end of the scale, some of the musicians who openly support the current regime, such as Jelena Karleusa, they were booed and prevented from holding concerts.
