Minister of Finance Sinish Mali he stated that they are registering volunteers for the program "Expo 2027" start on May 15 and that 20.000 volunteers are needed for the successful organization of that exhibition, stating that each student volunteer, if he volunteers for more than 15 days, will have the opportunity to receive one to three ESPB points.
Mali added that starting May 15, those over 18 years old can register on the ExpoPlaymakers platform, the Ministry of Finance announced.
According to him, "'Expo 2027' is the biggest chance in our history that we will not miss."
"Imagine that you have 130, 140 delegations from various countries, various institutions and that you have two, three, four, five million visitors in the 93 days that the Expo will last. To be surrounded by people from culture, sports, science, business, who are leaders in the world. It is an experience that is priceless," Mali said.
He emphasized that every student volunteer, if he volunteers for more than 15 days, will have the opportunity to receive one to three ESPB points, emphasizing that the social engagement of students at numerous faculties in France, Spain, Italy, Germany is evaluated through the awarding of academic points.
He added that there will be numerous benefits for Expo volunteers, which are being prepared in cooperation with project partners, including "Air Serbia" and "Telekom Serbia".
He cited the example that "Air Serbia" will provide a 27 percent discount on air ticket tariffs for travel after the end of the Expo, with a validity period of one year, and that Telekom Serbia will provide various discounts on its tariffs.
