The Ministry of Education sent to the schools professional instruction on organizing study visits to the specialized exhibition "Expo" which will be held in Belgrade in 2027.
According to the announcement, schools are given guidelines for the organization of study visits, which will be implemented in the period from May 17 to June 25, 2027, as part of the educational program for the 2026/2027 school year. a year.
"Professional guidance deals with study visits to exhibitions 'Expo 2027' as an additional learning opportunity through interactive exhibitions, research installations and thematic programs that allow students to learn, explore and create in an international environment. "Study visits are not a substitute for excursions or teaching in nature, but a supplement to the teaching process," the announcement states.
It's not mandatory, but everyone will know who didn't go
The Ministry of Education emphasized that participation in study visits is not mandatory, and that the participation of underage students will be possible only with the prior consent of parents or other legal representatives.
"Schools will inform parents in a timely manner about the visit program, the organization of transportation and all other important information, so that they can make a decision about their child's participation. In order for all students to have equal opportunities to participate, transportation and tickets will be provided free of charge, regardless of the financial capabilities of the family or the school the student attends," the statement reads.
Schools will plan study visits in accordance with their annual work plan, teaching programs and the interest of students and their parents.
"By adopting this Professional Instruction, the Ministry of Education provides a unique framework for the implementation of study visits, with the aim of providing quality, safe and accessible participation in this educational program to all students," added the Ministry of Education.
