Sa By meeting, the Statehood Day of Serbia, which falls on Sunday, February 15, continues the series of holidays that in 2026 will bring non-working days throughout Serbia.
Since this year the holiday falls on a Sunday, the non-working days are transferred, so Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - February 15, 16 and 17 will be non-working, which means three days off in a row.
Orthodox believers do not have non-working days in March, but members of the Islamic community have March 20 off, when the first day of Eid al-Fitr is celebrated.
Easter holidays for Orthodox believers last from April 10 to 13, while Catholics and members of other Christian communities Easter they celebrate earlier - from April 3 to 6.
After Easter, May 1 and 2 follow, which are non-working due to Labor Day.
Second half of the year
There are no public holidays from May to November.
The only non-working day in that period is November 11, when World War I Armistice Day is celebrated.
While in December, December 25 to be precise, it is celebrated and closed for Christmas. This applies to Catholics and members of other Christian religious communities.
