Thousands of people gathered in Kragujevac to welcome the students who have been marching towards the city from several directions for days. In the first capital of the Principality of Serbia, where the first constitution in Serbian history was adopted on February 15, a fifteen-hour protest will be held on Sretenje.
"Let's meet at Sretenje," said the students.
The first cyclists arrived
The streets of Kragujevac are full, and citizens lined up along the roads to greet the students. A red carpet was prepared for them in Kragujevac.
Cyclists were the first to arrive, followed by marathon runners who set off in front of the St. Sava Temple on the morning of February 14. After passing through the red ribbon and emotional welcome and hugs, they exchanged shirts with their colleagues who came to Belgrade from Kragujevac a few days ago to hand the students an invitation to the protest.
In addition to the red carpet, the marathoners were presented with medals and flowers, and the drums and chants of the citizens could be heard. Fireworks were also arranged for them.

The western column arrived, then the Belgrade-Novi Sad column
After the marathoners, around 21 pm, the "Western column" came to Kragujevac - students from Užice, Čačak, Novi Pazar and Kraljevo. They were greeted with cheers, chants and torches.
As they covered the last meters to the center, citizens illuminated their path with the lights of their phones. Fireworks were also organized for this group of students.
A little after 21 p.m., a convoy from Belgrade and Novi Sad arrived in Kragujevac. They too were greeted with euphoria, since they had walked more than 130 kilometers.
At the head of the column was a banner "Meeting has come, when will it be fulfilled", portal N1 writes.
The students from Nis were the last to arrive, around 22 p.m. The people of Kragujevac welcomed them with fireworks.
