For the last year in Serbia it showed what the power holders are willing to do to stay in the place they are, but also how much they are people ready to fight for their rights, the rule of law, for a society in which corruption is held accountable.
While the pressure of the citizens waves in a fight that many call a marathon race in which the pace varies, the students Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium they show what struggle can look like on a micro level.
Students of that school The blockades are in their second week. which was preceded by months of various events. First, a new acting director was appointed in February, who later dismissed those teachers who are unfit for the regime because they stood by the students and pupils in the blockade, but are qualified to teach at the fifth level.
Numerous pressures on the teachers who stayed to work followed, which is what "Vreme" is about said one of the employees of this school earlier.
Daily pressures resulted in a boycott of classes, and students presented several demands.
They requested that the acting director Danka Nešović irrevocably resign from the position of director, that a new director be selected from among the teachers of the Fifth Gymnasium, that a school board be convened and formed, which has not been convened since September, and that all suspended or dismissed teachers be returned to their jobs.

Will the spark ignite?
This Monday, the students of the First Belgrade High School supported the fifth grade students in their struggle, joining a one-day boycott of classes.
The students of this school are not in the classrooms today, but in support of the students of Pete, they held a protest walk from one school to another.
One student told N1 that the struggle in Fifth, the struggle of all high school students, is due to the government's attempt to appoint politically suitable, but unfit and unqualified administrators and teachers to lead the school collective.
Fifth grade students announced that they will remain in the blockade until the demands are met.

What do the director and the minister of (pre)revenge say?
The director, Danka Nešović, said that the school is under siege, that the state should solve the problem and make it possible for classes to take place without interruption.
The Minister of Education, Dejan Vuk Stanković, said that a competition for the selection of the director of Pete will be announced soon, and that the school was chosen to be a "hotel" for bliocadres who come from other parts of Serbia, and are going to Novi Sad for a meeting on the occasion of the anniversary of the fall of the canopy at the Railway Station on November 1.
