11 years at the helm of the RGA
We remind you that Drašković was the director of the Republic Geodetic Institute for 11 years. In recent months, he stood out for the public war that the institution waged against the president of the Municipality of Čajetin, Milan Stamatović, regarding the land in Zlatibor. Things went so far that the conflict was also conducted from the official account of RGZ on the X social network.
The former director of RGZ was also in a public war with the former Minister of Construction, Goran Vesić, who made an open "threat" that he would deal with the cadastre. He criticized the work of RGZ, pointing out that they do everything to avoid contact with citizens and communicate with them only online and through lawyers.
After 11 years, the director of RGZ was replaced: Borko Drašković is leaving, Dalibor Babić was appointed
After that, there was a response from the top of this institution through the trade union Geosindicat, in which Vesić was retaliated with the same measure, criticizing the work of the minister. Despite this conflict with a high-ranking state official and SNS official, Drašković remained in the chair.
After the change of government in 2013, he was the assistant director of the Directorate for Waterways at the Ministry of Transport.
