Can changes start from the premises?
After two rounds of local elections, in which the opposition and opposition groups of citizens achieved relatively good results despite countless electoral irregularities and the June boycott of voting by a part of the opposition, a logical question arises - to what extent political changes in Serbia can start at the level of cities and municipalities .
Let's remember that the fall of Milosevic in 2000 was paved by the opposition's takeover of power in several Serbian cities four years earlier.
To what extent is it possible to compare today's political situation with that of the nineties? Was the boycott of the opposition a wrong decision, or did going to the elections give legitimacy to Vučić's electoral "engineering"? When can we expect the next local elections, is it realistic to expect them, in the context of the political crisis, to be held before the legal deadline? Where are the secret powers and weaknesses of citizen groups and political parties at the local level?
These are some of the questions that our guests tried to answer.
